If the team go out and don't do what you, the manager, says, then you, the manager, are responsible. Tough, but the buck stops there.
I'd rather see him at CB than Lucas, but I am conscious that Mahrez just left him rooted to the ground twice last night. He's not the most agile player, is he? Sort of Phil Jones without any speed, tackling or heading ability. He can pass.... occasionally.
I'll shut up now as you've said it all there bar one thing - I truly don't think Klopp is 100% innocent in all this, and I think it's his ego as much as anything that he refuses to buy big in a Wenger-like belief that he can always turn players around. Well, he damn well must have known we desperately needed players in January, even fillers on loan, and we're now out of two cup competitions and a nailed-on Top Four place thanks to a collective paralysis and aversion to facts at the heart of our club. I'd sack the board (and those owners who are not that much cop either) before I'd sack Klopp - but he's not above criticism in all this.
no. If you lot want me to drop my mod powers too so one of you can take over then have a vote to shut my boat innit.
I have to agree. klopp cannot be absolved of his own errors cos thats not rational. however those who associate daring one utterance of critique as a call for heads is seriously foolish.
Are we having a vote? About time. I vote that we should rejoin. #bettertogether. (I've kept my badges and stickers for just this).
if someone starts a thread and the vote is mito out i'll submit my resignation. after all i don't need them to do much do i? people hated Christmas names and such yeah? that was my las mod power usage bar thread starting.
Klopp has his fault but he's one of the top managers in the World. I would say once he actually has a decent squad then we can judge him on errors. There are so few likable players in our squad its worrying.
