Couldn't be prouder. Heads never dropped....which could have happened at 2-0 down to a team like United. We can beat anyone on our day....the lads just have to get out there and show it in the rest of the season. A great bunch of lads and a good management team.<applause>
Sorry, great comments / sentiments but not enough. Gotta be better at this level. Great free kick / unsuperb keeping ? And of course then 2-2 but .. ...

Sorry, but how?

Did you watch a different match to the rest of us? How can you feel anything but pride after being the better side? Being the best on the day doesn't mean you will win the game but what more could those players have done, they were superb and I for one am so proud of each and every one of them, from the owner, chairman, directors, manager, coaches, players and fans, they gave their all and deserved more. So proud.

If we had Gabbi at the beginning of the season, this season would be so much different. But seeing a team had a 25 mil bid for him turned down last summer he was out of our league anyway. Really looking forward to next season

We were better, by far the better team. But that Ibrahimovic, you may have heard of him, is quite a handy lad.

Exactly! When you play a team who have genuine great players (ibrahimivic is an all time great) you need a bit of luck. Today we didn't get any. uh also it helps if your best players injured. If we'd won it would have been a phenomenal achievement, it was still a phenomenal performance in my book.

The Calgary Saints fans came out in force today, a good 20 or so at the pub.
In all my years of supporting SouthamptonFC, I have never seen them play so bloody well for 90mins. The Saints where magnificent! And if it wasn't for Ibras clinical finishing, they would be celebrating with the cup right now. Yes I am gutted we didn't win, but so bloody proud of my football team, and fans. Let's hope, this will be the 1st of many trips to Wembley

There's a time and a place to be critical and this isn't it. Yes there were mistakes made but the players were literally inches away from pulling off one of the greatest cup final comebacks ever. I hope the players don't have any regrets tonight because they gave it everything they had and the only reason we didn't win is we didn't get the rub of the green.
