just to throw further controvesy out there , been told by some people today that ferrie has gone back to holland. anybody heard the same story ??

PS im not stating that as fact before anyone starts !! :)

if you think that bodde dont get a basic wage then there is something radically wrong with you. listen to fans that has worked at the club and fans who know whats going on through inside knowledge. would you work for nothing<doh> pay by play means you get bonuses, and if you think bodde is not costing us money then who is paying his sky high medical bills over the last 3 years??? i bet you think they were free.<laugh> i know you will say insurance.....well who pays the insurance......take it from the fans like me that knows a bit more what goes on with the club than most, you may not like it that i have connections with the club but thats your problem. bodde will get at least £10,000/week basic because i know that is the least any of the first team squad is getting. some are on much higher like tate and monk and rangal and then you have the top earners who are on the max of £25,000/week. so there you have it..some of us are privileged to have strong connections with the club than most of the average fan.....we know a bit more of the facts...deal with it because i dont care what you think...

Dai you just prove the point, your condescending super fan post just shows you up for what you are, and that is deluded! You have no inside scoop at our club, if you did your fantasy facts would be eventually proven, none so far have!

As for bodde costing the club in medical costs, that is covered by insurance, as an employer the swans have commitments in this regard, it's part of a contract to have their playing staff on a players insurance, this would be tax deductible just like any other business expense.

I can see quite clearly that you have absolutely no knowledge of business, and even less knowledge of how a football club is run, I think you better quit posting on this because you are making yourself look more idiotic as posts go on, just leave it to the people in the know at our club, they have the expertise you lack!

Really ? Now you got me intrigued care to point out where phil said that ?

And dai I don't have to deal with anything, but you do as you put your baseless opinions out as facts, you still haven't proved what you say is fact, if it's opinion fair enough, but you are putting it on here as fact, and you are being called on it!

And dai its not eating me away mate, I only deal in facts, the rest is just speculation, now where have I heard that before ? <laugh>

while you speculate which i understand because you have no connection with the club jager sometimes listen to some of us who has connections and inside knowledge like me for instance. i take a great deal of interest behind the scenes as well as on the pitch. i know more than i would ever let on. been with the swans for over 50 years and worked at the vetch and the first season at the liberty. i still go to see the lads working there at least once a fortnight if not more, i am well known at the liberty and have no problem getting through security to see people.....i know plenty...

Greetings guys. I'm back from climbing Everest....Basecamp lol.

First thing I have to say is - Dai, no dis-respect, but your talking bullshit.

Firstly, you are very unsympathetic toward Ferrie, who injured himself, and possibly wrecked his career, playing for US!! Therefore, I do believe we did owe him something? Did we not?
With regards to his medical bills, you will find that part of his wages go toward insurance. Which pay out when a player gets injured, the same that goes for us, and everybody that has a job. For your information, the Swans have paid for some of his medical bills because they felt they owed him, which I agree with completely.
ALso to add, Ferrie is on a pay as you play contract, but I believe the Swans do pay him a small weekly wage packet to help him out. So, get your facts correct before gobbing off, saying how much of a better fan you are than others.

Have a little respect for our players, and our fellow fans. Ferrie deserves more than what your dishing out.

Well said ash, the problem is that dai has no respect for anyone apart from his own opinion , he is of course entitled to that, but to show complete disdain of other people's opinion speaks more about his personality than anything else.

how can part of his wages go to insurence if jeger thinks he isnt getting any wages?? :)

you obviously agree with superswans sentiments RE wages , which is what this argument has kinda developed into .

of course ferrie gets money/wage ,how much i dont know ,but it wont be peanuts thats for sure :)

Wouldn't his insurance already cover this as an ongoing situation? I had medical insurance when living abroad from bupa , they continued paying my medical bills even after I stopped being a customer of them and until I was better.

Besides the PFA has a say in this, basically all football players must be included in a team insurance.

"yes its the same posters who hate me telling you some facts"

    No. We just hate you.

Facts like "We'll never get promoted with Jinks in charge. Fact." That one?

Or how about, "Pratley has had his medical with Forest. Fact". How about that one?

    <laugh>

well, it wasnt me that said his insurence is taken out of his wages . but i take your point jeger. getting insure3nce cover for a player that is already injured would involve an extremely high premium IMO. the club would have to cough up serious money somewhere along the line .

ferrie gets a basic wage at the swans. think we can all agree on that now. it will also be a fair chumk of cash too! a gamble the club were well prepared to take and rightly so but lets not kid ourselves ferrie is here for nothing eh ?

apperently he is back in holland now anyway . which doesnt sound like good news to me :(

It appears my last post was conveniently missed by some, so I'll recap the most important part.

Can someone please post a link or tell me where I can find the clubs suggestion that Boddes career is over? Thank you.

The club has not suggested his career is over. It's just been doing the rounds on the net as you probably know earlier this week, that he's still getting pain from his troublesome knee. This is since walking off at Port Talbot (last seen in action) with a 'hamstring issue'??!! People are understandably fearing the worse, that the 'writings on the wall', so to speak.....

swans flying high has correctly pointed out that there is no news from from the club RE bodde , but many rightly assume something is up because his withdrawl from port talbot due to "tight hamstring" has turned out to be issues with his problem knee again.

so there has been an element of smoke and mirrors by the club that has fuelled rumour on boddes career .

rightly so IMO too , we all want to see a fit and well ferrie but it has been rumoured for a long time that he will struggle to return to action. its fair and right to only listen to what the offical stance is by our football club but, when they have shown themselves to be a little bit less accurate with their early reports then you can understand the gossip and rumour that follows hamstring issue to knee issue in a few weeks.

    no smoke without fire ??

i wish for ferries full recovery so do all jacks , but its not looking too good for the boy if its his knee giving him problems again.

ive heard a few rumours that he is now finished and that he is back in holland , none of this is fact . the club have a policy of not being straight with the fans on these issues and nor should they either! its up to them how they play things ,there are loads of things that happen inside a football club that would make the fans crazy if they knew !! so no club can ever be transparent because of this .

the flip side is that it feuls rumour, speculation and wild accusation ! all the things that make message boards a worth while read ! :)

also there are as many rumours that come true as there are that dont .all part of the great football tapastry that we all love :)
