Bit extreme for me to start knocking kids out to quit smoking tho marra.

Maybe when the summer season dies down and i'm less busy, i'll have a proper go at it.

"It's a cliché that is a little over used these days, but after a game like that were the players and fans alike put their heart and soul into it 100%, it really was a genuine shame that there had to be a looser...!!"

It maybe a cliche but it sums that game up. My mate watched it on TV and said he was sorry that one team had to lose the game and he's a Mag!!! So it must've been good.

Well done RAW for giving up the weed and I hope BB can do it as well. My dad was brought up in Glasgow in the 1920/30's and told me he started smoking when he was about 10 (I have no reason to doubt that either). He was a heavy smoker but when he was around 60 he suddenly gave it up. He has never smoked since and will be 96 years old in November. So BB there is an incentive for you if you need it.

    Yeah.

That said my grandad on my mothers side smoke probs 30 rollies a day, and lived to 86.

On the flip side, he had terrible health problems in his last few years, he was such an active fella, ex forces, used to walk the dog from Grindon up to Penshaw twice a day, dashing fella, good looking, always in a collar and tie, or at the very least a polo and smart trousers, a proper gent and character.

At the end he was on oxygen and could barely leave the settee, i really should have taken that as the kick up the arse.

Connor Wickham, one of four strikers......

But is he 3rd or 4th choice, will Bruce choose him over Ji, or vice-versa?

And then of course there is Campbell to come back when he is fit...Let's hope the competition for places drives them on to better things...
