He's no Pele, and given a full season i'd be surprised to see him bag more than double figures, but he's certainly no Altidore or Manucho and an improvement on Mbo and Dio

As would I, any player that scores 100 or more goals in a season probably wouldn't find themselves at City for very long.

On what we've seen so far, is it too early to say he'd be worth the £10m gamble if we stay up? Or would we rather spend that £10m elsewhere, on a different striker?

Hard one, because if he does bag a decent amount, they'll want 13m + and if he turns out to be a turd, we won't want him.....pretty much the problem with all our loan signings if we stay up

That would be impressive.

Isn't the agreed fee in the contract £10m? They can't budge on that, if he scores loads it's their fault for not valuing him higher.

Considering Inter's opinion of Nokia, I think we'd definitely be able to get him here full time. As long as we stay up and he wants to be here, that is.

I agree that inter will let him go, the fan feeling alone is too I'll for him to go back, but another 10-15 performances than that and there will be bigger teams after him for sure

Niasse has started well & he's scored against Man U & Liverpool so confidence will be sky high and with a striker that's half the story & let's be fair he knows where the goal is

The goal looked like a proper finish to me. The kind of thing we've been lacking. Proper confident touch and dribble. Normally a City striker in that position would be waiting for the tackle to come in, that is assuming they'd even make the run in the first place. I think he's exactly what we've needed. A lot of games we don't have an out ball like that and the ball just keeps coming back time and time again.

Just watched it back on MoTD, he doesn't scuff it at all, he rolls it through the keeper's legs. The touch to control it was also impressive, especially under pressure. Amazing what confidence can do for a player!

It's what Hernandez should have done against Man Utd and also when Grosicki played him in today. It seems we don't have to rely on one finisher at the club anymore.
