The % of world population who have experienced active warfare is probably the lowest it's ever been. Sure there are hotspots around the world but most people alive have not experienced a major war in their lifetime firsthand.
Y'know. I thought that at first but Trump is getting so much done via "executive order" completely bypassing the legislative body that I think he may be worse than Pence. This whole executive order thing seems bonkers. The president's office wasn't set up to be a legislative power, it shouldn't have this ability.
Obama opened the can of worms though when he started abusing that clause.

TBF I think she grandstanded a bit. If she believed part or all of the EO was illegal then she should have informed the President that neither she or her staff could defend it successfully in court...if he ignored her then she should resign.
She kinda made it more a political statement than a legal one with her method of going. Strange for the countries top lawyer...if she had the evidence then a calm detailed reasoning of why she thought it unlawful in a resignation letter would have had a more profound impact.
It would also have given very awkward specific questions to senators to ask sessions before he's approved..now he can and will sidestep.
