There are so many clips of "Americans are dumb" on YouTube. The level of ignorance is astonishing and scary.
When asked about a country bordering the USA, a college student didn't know. When asked about the biggest country in South America another said Africa. A student of History (!) was asked who won the civil war and she didn't know. No wonder the likes of trump get elected. The level of knowledge and numeracy simply incredibly poor and really scary for the rest of the world.

The paradox is in voting stupid people in believing they'll sort govt out like it's as easy as putting up a fence. It's why Trump is firing out these executive orders...it's "see! This is easy".

It truly does amaze me that comparatively speaking education standards are far better across the board than in the 1930's and yet the same old tactics facism uses always work.
