No, our manager has and Snodgrass hasn't denied it.

Can you post the link to Silva saying Snodgrass refused to train?

I'll save you time, there isn't one, the story is just a Twitter rumour.

    He replied to this post:

It's his responsibility to not refuse to play under the terms of the big **** off contract he was happy to sign.

I didn't mention him refusing to train. Thanks.

Or maybe it's somewhere in the middle, he did the fitness sessions but not the team tactical sessions

Boring it may be but I forget the date but I can narrow it down to the week Nov/Dec before Robertson returned from injury , he was discussing moving with him and comparing different places and some benefits .... he wasn't exactly whispering about it but I don't accept the clown that run this club did anything to upset him DURING the window - crap had already gone south

I've got a direct quote from me calling you a cock. Would you like me to direct you to that?

Like the manager stating 'He hasn't trained with us for 12 days'.

Now now, there's no need to get nasty just because you got it a bit wrong, we were only pulling your leg, it's no biggie.

Snodgrass joined us and unfortunately got a serious injury. Since he came back he has been head and shoulders our most consistent player and is he reason that we are not cut adrift at the bottom.

Ok he's said he wants to leave - he'll get paid more money but he was also very clear that our esteemed owners didn't deal with his upcoming contract very well at all.

Good luck to him and he should be treated with a solid round of applause and appreciation next time he plays against us.

Snodgrass would not have stayed beyond his contract, he wanted a bigger pay packet than the club would have offered him and triggering the extention clause just added to his desire to leave.

I do not blame the club or the player.

I think the reason he decided to leave was Ehab offer of a contract was derisory, wasn't time wise long enough, was sent by E mail without any contact with the player or his agent allegedly. Furthermore it seems he was angry about the club extending the contract by a year without telling him.

After that he decided to leave and told MS on day one, so yes he was always going to leave after that.

Still no one answers my question about why we didn't just say 'sorry kid, you're staying until the end of the season, but we'll let you go at the end of the season'?

I think it's unfair to say derisory john.
We can not match the offers for a player who was playing as well as Snodgrass. That's just the way it is. He held the upper hand. Would you have given him a contract with no reduction on relegation? Because that would be his first demand.

I am not just talking about the money, from what I understand he wanted a longer deal than Ehab was prepared to give him. It was more to do with how the whole thing was handled, he felt that he was being disrespected not sitting down with him and his agent.
