Behave, at least 10? If Burnley bid then one or two more might. Like snods

If 4 clubs are actually after him and not some agents crap, say one of the others say we'll go 12 million, you think we would say no just give us 10.... the offer isn't chiselled in stone.. until and actual contract is signed any other club can gazump another. It ****ing happened to me on a few houses I've tried to buy....
Sell him to the ****ing highest bidder...
Yes, once the signing is confirmed. Either us or Burnley are free to change our minds or offer/ask for less/more until the deal is sealed.
It's the same in any business all over the country from a supermarket to an online retailer to buying/selling a house.
He's being sarcastic because Calv seems to think anything more than 10m is unrealistic for Snoddy.
You are wrong. If somebody says "I'll pay £10m" and the other party says "I accept" that is all that is needed. Nobody can back out. Obviously both sides may say something else though. For example, Burnley will say: "Subject to Snodgrass accepting our salary offer".Yes, once the signing is confirmed. But from what you have said - it's totally wrong.
As I said, if you think Snodgrass is worth 20+ Million you're down right deluded.
This is the problem. We want players to be paid on the cheap. It's not even his comments on Snoddy that are so laughable. I think Livermore was worth more than Snodgrass. In an ideal world we'd have signed them on better, longer contracts because they were integral parts of our squad.
He won't go where we want him to go, he'll go where he wants to go. Most likely the club offering him the biggest pay packet/longest contract.Well, just as an example, say someone offered us an extra £1m up front provided we rejected any lower offers, that would be equal to approx £4.5 a week over the rumoured 4 year contract Snodgers is after.
It could work out cheaper to pay us off than have a 4 way bidding war with the player.
It probably won't happen, although I'm sure I remember it happening a few times in the past.
In all seriousness what do you think we will get for Robbo? I think they way things are going he will be off to if Burnley come in.He's being sarcastic because Calv seems to think anything more than 10m is unrealistic for Snoddy.
Is it a good idea to offer someone with a history of long term injuries a huge contract on massive money when you're on the verge of relegation? When there is an option of a sensible 1 year extension sat there?

They most certainly didn't undervalue Livermore, 10 million was a great deal for us. In the real world, I think 10 million is about right for Snodgrass at this stage of his career with not long left on his contract.

Any price can be retracted. Have you ever been in a shop or bought something online which had the wrong price and the seller refused to honour it? They are perfectly within their right - legally - by default unless for some bizarre reason they have decided to honour any price and make a contract binding at the agreement of price in their T&C's.
That's what made Snodgrass want to leave. Ehab only thinks of the money. He doesn't even make the effort to go to the matches. We're not on the verge of relegation - we're in a relegation dogfight but have a reasonable chance of staying up if we keep our best players and add a few more faces.
Footballers are egos on legs and to offer our best player this season (by some distance) a meagre 1 year extension is an insult to the player.
