What's with the massive black rectangles on the top and bottom of the message? Is there supposed to be pictures?
He posted it as an image on Twitter, rather than text, so it is what it is, I assume it's from Instagram.
Even Merson said on TS this morning that if Hull (he never calls us Hull City) can get through their next 4 games and only be 4 points adrift, they have a fair chance of surviving, this after he wanted a British appointment. Maybe he;s seen the light too..!!!!!
We have some very good players tha I didn't read what you wrote beyond the first paragraph. But just to correct you 'values' was a reference to the valuation in currency and not whether they eat their vitamins and say their prayers. Secondly. Bruce established a good team all of which have good sell on values. I wanted Bruce to leave, his time had come and I had grown tired of his style of football. Nether the less he established a team of players who with further investment could have gone on to better things than being a regular yo yo team. Bruce established a good team and just didn't know how to get the most out of them.
I really like Silva, he's an exciting appointment and I trust him to do his own shopping, but it's fairly obvious that he'd have held on to Jake if he could, Personally, I don't care if the Allams spend anything, but it would be nice if they told us what was actually going on.
I couldn't agree more, it would be nice to know more but in fairness they have said the manager will be supported and at present they have done so all the while not spending ridiculous amounts and getting us into financial trouble. And yes Marco probably would have kept hold of him but if he's got the choice of either keeping Jake or selling him and getting a couple of players in positions we all know we are desperately short of then he has to do it. He isn't the first manager to have to do it and he won't be the last. The top teams do it all the time!
Can we have a sticky thread for all the depressed ones please so the rest of us can enjoy marco silva trying to salavge the mess Any news or links on wingers linked to us? The allams need to go , but have to agree seems like somethings happened and ehaws decided to maybe at least attempt to do some kind of job instead of the vanishing act he did for phelan
Southampton seem to have done it at will and managed to find decent enough replacements... Shaw, Lalana, Schnedierlin, Lovren and they're just those that immediately spring to mind...
Why do people seem as though they demand to know as "its their club" I just dont get it. What will be will be. The Allams are never going to open up, so you have to accept that. If we get new owners they might be different. They might not. But i couldnt care less. I'll just jog along to City whatever.
Hi stevie, simple, honest question . What do you regard as financial trouble? From what I've read, as a club, we're anywhere between £80m to 100m in debt. As I see it, if the Allams pull the plug we ain't got a paddle.
Leicester City transfer news: Ulloa will stay, says Ranieri By RobTanner | Posted: January 20, 2017 Claudio Ranieri believes Leonardo Ulloa will stay at Leicester City. The Argentinian striker handed in a transfer request earlier this week after becoming disillusioned at City. The 30-year-old is frustrated at his lack of opportunities in a side that is struggling in the Premier League, and also because many of his team-mates have been handed new contracts after last season's title success. Ranieri said he didn't know if City would try to appease the targetman striker with a new contract offer, although sources close to the player state that a contract offer at this stage would be too late to convince Ulloa to withdraw his request. Alaves have submitted a transfer offer believed to be around £5million but that is below City's valuation of a player that has ultimately cost them double that figure. He was signed from Brighton two-and-a-half years ago. City also rejected a much bigger offer in the summer for Ulloa. Ranieri said if it was down to him Ulloa would stay but he admitted the club had to be happy with the final decision. "I always said I don't want to keep players that are unhappy, but at the top there is the club," he said. "Three must be happy; the club, me and the player. I like Leonardo, he is a good professional player. I have told them (the club) my thinking. Now I think he will stay. I want him. "The contract is not my matter. I am a coach not the manager."
