There you go! That's how you do it Norwich! You don't really want to sell a good player, you are desperate for money in any league outside the Premiership. They have more money than sense. Straight away, slap a 15M price tag on. Just like Brentford have done for Hogan. If they want him enough, you make silly money off him, if they don't think he's worth that, then he's worth more to you playing!

Chris Woods worth 15M!!? <laugh>

He's probably worth about 6-7M at very best!

The reported £4m for Olsson does seem cheap, especially as he had
recently signed a contract extension until summer 2018.
£4m for a year and a half's worth of contract of an international LB and without doubt,
one of the best in the championship? No, Jez, I don't think so :( <doh>

The price is subject to conjecture, but is almost certainly a bit more than that. £4m was, if I remember correctly, the fee for his proposed move to WBA a year ago

Rumour has it that Burnley have turned to Hull for Snodgrass for £7.5m instead of Brady at £13m. Has Brady been priced too high at a time when we need to sell in order to buy?

If the MacDonald and Meredith interest is true, at least it shows the club were prepared for Olsson's departure. MacDonald was only signed by Barnsley in the summer, but quickly pushed himself into the starting line-up and played against City earlier. Bradford's Meredith is an Australian international who is primarily a LB with 'explosive pace', but he can also play at CB or DM. This from Wiki:

"Meredith primarily plays as a left-back, although he has been described as being "versatile" and is able to play at centre-back or in midfield. After signing for York in 2009, manager Martin Foyle described him as being "a very attack-minded, left-footed full-back with pace who can play the ball out from the back."

The source for that is the Daily Fail and it has all the earmarks of lazy journalism as editorial deadline nears. It could be true, but I have my doubts.
