Probably they will Valley, add-ons are usually negotiated by agent for the player and include things like play, end of season position, goal, win bonuses etc. Can't see Spurs getting any more than the initial fee we've already paid.
also Image Rights - can be worth a few bob!

Not one person on her has said that we should be competing with Man Utd, Chelsea and just because other sides are making poor signings that makes it alright for us to do it. We don't need to strengthen the squad but our starting 11 and we simply haven't.

I agree. All we have done the past 4_6 windows is buy squad players.

We needed a winger and 2 CBs to go straight into the side as a priority. Instead we sign a winger (probably will go into the side) and 2 squad players in Carroll and Olsson.

If Kiff (?) is correct and Clement doesn't rate Kingsley, Olsson will go straight in the team.

As for Tom Carroll, can he really do any worse that Cork and/or Ki.......? Time will answer that I guess....

But Taff, you have nailed it there, could he be any worse than Cork or Ki maybe not, but I want players who are better.

Could Carrolls arrival mean the end of Routledge. Hope not, I think Routs has been great for us over the years and I feel he still has a lot to offer.
Stumpy in all fairness I thinks Routs time is coming to an end and if we can get 3m for him have to take it and bring in a younger version. Don't see Carroll as a replacement for him though. If we do let him go I hope we go for Kakuta.

I agree 100% TLF - I was expecting, as mentioned earlier, some "jaw-dropping" loan signings: players who had worked with Clement previously, and who Ancelotti, or PSG, or Real had "surplus" but who needed game time.

Me to mate, but it seems he is another Jenkins lap dog and is bending over for him as the last few managers have done. Just thought Clement may be different. I don't buy this he remembers Narsingh as he played against him at Bayern and he coached Olsson 7 years ago for a few weeks. He had absolutely no say in this and they are 100% Jenkins signings.

No one has said it but the impression I get is that some think we should be spending more on players and that does mean us competing against higher level clubs here and in Europe. My view is that Olssen is an upgrade on Taylor AND Kingsley and Carroll is on Cork.

No what people are expecting is to not waste on player we don't really need, just to sign someone, but use what money we have to strengthen where we really need it. We are desperate for a leader and a CB, what money we had should have been guided towards finding those.

Olson may be a bit better than Taylor, and Carroll may be a bit better than Cork (not convinced) but did we really need them. When we are so weak in other positions.

We're really weak at LB so Olsson makes sense IMO and TC can be the Britton replacement IMO. The window hasn't closed yet and you never know who may still come. Although, I don't blame you being pessimistic after the summer transfer window fiasco.

All thats left on our shopping list now is another winger, CB and if the right one becomes available a striker.

I don't see him as better than Kingsley, just more experienced, I have looked at lots of comments on different sites about Olsson and most say great going forward, but cant defend and gets caught to far forward all the time, but can almost get his signing. Carrolls signing I cant get at all, neat and tidy but totally uninspiring and just don't see him as a step forward in any way. I know the window hasn't closed yet, but how much money is now left to strengthen where we really need it. Because no matter what we do, with out a new leader and a quality centre back we are relegated. Carrolls money would have been better spent there.

Someone cut Huw's phone cable and don't say a word.

Leicester striker Leonardo Ulloa is considering handing in a transfer request as he becomes increasingly frustrated with a lack of first team opportunities this season, according to Sky sources.

The Argentinian's only Premier League start came against Middlesbrough on 2 January and has 18 months left on his current contract but is yet to be offered a new deal by Leicester. Claudio Ranieri has said publicly he wants to keep the striker.

Leicester turned down a £9m bid for Ulloa in the summer, and Sky sources have told us the club have also rejected an approach from an un-named Spanish club last week. It's thought a number of Spanish clubs are monitoring the situation, and further offers are expected before the January window closes.

I don't think we need a new CB unless it is to replace Amat who has disappointed me so far this season I think Fernandez and Mawson need to be allowed to develop a partnership. I think we need a new RB and a winger as well. I would have liked a ball winning aggressive midfielder. Why would we let Llorente go on loan to Chelsea as this would be of no benefit to us at this stage. I would like to see McBurnie get more game time to develop further and from what I've read I suspect this may happen under Clements. A new striker would be good but there is still a chance that Clements may be able to develop Borja. The problem with getting a new striker is that every man and his dog is after one.
