Hull forward Robert Snodgrass says he is focused on playing for the Tigers, not transfer speculation. (Daily Star)
We can bring in as many as we want, we're just limited by the maximum five in a matchday squad, so we won't go over 5/6 loans.
Never played, I'm 50. The lad gets it. It appears to make those who play experts on every player, they also become world beating scouts, coaches & managers. They even make out like they know loads about obscure players from the farthest reaches of the globe. We ascertained some time back that the player scoring system was flawed & bollocks, but each to their own. It seems "I've seen them play a few times" means "I was Red Star Belgrade & my unknown online opponent was Fulchester Rovers. I beat him three times but that Billy the Fish for them had some great games. He would be a good back up keeper, way better than Marshall. He had high ratings for saves, good in wet conditions but **** at kicking. Sign him up Silva"
Or like me, you gamble too much on ****e obscure leagues and end up watching a whole host of weird games
If we have five loans and Evandro, that's already more than anyone expected, how many more are you expecting?
The scoring system used for Football Manager is done by actual scouts. As in, they pay people to go and watch the games, mostly professional data analysts (although you can get a job doing it if you know what you're doing football wise) and people well connected in football. It's a lazy way to gain football knowledge and I think many older football fans (from my experience anyway) dislike it because the people playing it haven't watched as much real football, yet they're able to pull names out of a hat with little effort. It is obviously only a game, but as games go in terms of football knowledge, it's a very good marker as it's compiled by people who genuinely know about the game. It's no coincidence that many of the players in the game that start out as 'wonderkids' (hate that term) have gone on to become actual world class footballers (Neymar, Lewandowski and Alli and being prime examples). But it is still only a game, a game which ironically becomes less real the longer you play it. I wouldn't use it as a stick to beat people with, I don't think anybody playing Tiger Woods PGA Tour ever claimed it made them a mint golfer. I played it for years and can't get lower than 20. Exactly what I do. It's habit now, I watch a game a day at least. Been enjoying the Mexican league this last month. Go Pumas.
How do they maintain consistency between the pretend scouts? The scoring system is flawed & bollocks. Pulling a name out of a hat & quoting some pretend stats from a football game doesn't make you knowledgable. It's on the same level as AKCJ's "I watched live" bollocks.
