Lets be honest, if we did that you would be the first to be shouting Ehab does not know what he is doing. Lets not do that and just make sure our players see these bids for what they are.
I wouldn't need to shout it .... we all know he doesn't anyway... maybe we should be savvy enough to say Snodgrass we'll listen to £10 million plus etc...
Eventually someone will post up on here a humorous message about West Ham bidding low for a player and signing that bid with a crayon, and that Sydney fella will explode.
Anybody else in the prem been linked with van der wiel only seen us linked to him could he be here next week?
Good test of MS's man management skills coming up over the next few weeks. I think of the Ramirez/Ben Arfa etc era when a few of the regulars seemed to get their noses put out of joint.
Glad Silva agrees that we lack natural wingers. Doesn't seem to get mentioned that often but we really do. We've basically just got Snodgrass who gives us any real attacking creativity out wide.
I'm sure every player in the bottom half is going to completely lose enthusiasm to play once they find out they could play for Hull City. Ehab is a moron for not doing this.
As Snodgrass cuts in on his left 99.9% of the time it's not really out wide anyway. Brady was the last winger we had who would take it to the by-line and cut it back, all crosses from Elmo and Robbo are from deep and easy to defend. Maloney's cut back to Abel against Swansea was a great example of what we should be doing.
For as long as I can remember I've been thinking that City need to cut it back like that more often. It seems like we hardly ever do.
Jeffrey Schlupp has joined Palace from Leicester for a fee in the region of £12.5m, on a 4 1/2 year deal. Hell of a lot of money for a bloke who can't make a struggling Leicester team (he's only started one league game this season).
There aren't many out and out wingers nowadays, I don't think 422 & 433 really allows for any of the old fashioned ''chalk on the boots'' pacy/tricky wingers - when I watch MOTD etc I mostly see the tricky players cutting inside to get into the box.
