Thank you for the prompt replies. Some were helpful while others were in poor taste.

I have spoken to the powers that be at the KFC and it is all stations go for Saturday.

Vernon, and anyone else who thinks he can bring a drum into a Hull City crowd, I have made arrangements to confront your percussion crew and remove your drum as soon as it appears and smash it into little pieces then insert the sticks into an uncomfortable place, OK with that?

Well done. You've achieved more than Burns, Buckingham and the rest of the local HDM & RH media 'experts' have managed over the past year or two. <applause>

Our kid is taking a large drum to the KFC on Saturday to try and improve on the tepid atmosphere.

We wants to know pf any simple beats or specific requests.

At the moment he has perfected the following

Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang CITY

PS He will be in the north stand.

Big Vern
Will be looking out for him...

Google 'Gene Krupa'.
Google 'Buddy Rich'.
Bonham, good. But eat your heart out.
Taylor, very good. But eat your heart out.
Ringo. Erm, eat your heart out.
And spend the money carefully. The luckiest dummy that ever lived.

Together Gene and Buddy were a mean pair. Always loved 'Drum Boogie' - as a kid I always wanted to play the drums.
