Regardless of what NCFC supporters think of Brady's play this season, I am dismayed at the £12 mil price tag. £14 mil would be more like it. He's still only 24 and has a wealth of experience. He was probably our best player first half of last season in the Premier. edit: I forgot to add - If the 25% sell on fee due Hull is fact, our take at £12 mill would only be £9 mil.
I don't know if it's a percentage of the profit or of the fee. Good question, though. You are probably right.
I'd always taken it to mean of the fee not profit, though profit in anyother industry would make sense, in the crazy world of football, who knows? Bah!
Bamford, on loan at Burnley, will be recalled by Chelsea this month. Six sub appearances so far. His Championship form a few season ago at Middlesbrough seems to have deserted him. Not a lone striker - needs another to support him so 4-4-2, 3-4-1-2 better for him?
We may price Brady out of the market? While we all want to get as much for him as possible, some clubs will bulk at £12m. Crystal Palace are rumored to have lost interest at the price tag.
Everton sign Fantastic young English prospect Ademola Lookman. What a player he is going to be. Is another signing for Everton like Stones and Holgate.
Anyone know anything about him?, Strengthens, Skills, is he any good, if so hope he doesn't get treated like Canos & gets to play in the 1st team
Hopefully he'll have enough about him to make the team some time soon . Or at least earn us a few quid. Bah!
Apparently they've been tracking this latest one for the last three years and have beaten some high-end European clubs to his signature, so he pre-dates AN
In fact he's only 16 but plays for Iceland's U17 squad. Gregg Broughton, Academy head of recruitment, says this of him: "We've been tracking Agust for three years so it`s been a long process, as it is when you try and bring in any player from abroad. He spent some time with us last season, he enjoyed that experience and from there we agreed a fee with Breidablik in the summer and in this transfer window we have finalised the deal. The plan is for him to be playing Under-23s football straight away. He`s already had an opportunity to train with the first team and Alex Neil likes him as a player. He has great attacking qualities but he also has an unbelievable attitude and work ethic. Those two things will serve him really well and we can`t wait to see him pull on a Norwich City shirt." The teenager received his first call-up to Iceland's Under-17s aged just 15 in September 2015, and since then has earned 15 caps in that age group, netting three times.
