OLympiacos have a couple of Portugese players.
Andre Martins Diogo Figuiros. Manuel Da Costa too.Any good? Likely to come?

André Martins was from Sporting and played under Marco but the new coach never used him so he signed for free with olympiakos. Decent but not good enough and has a contract with Oly. Manuel da Costa will play for Morocco in Can 2017 and is a central defender. Figueiras is good but they wouldn't sell cheap he can play both rb or lb.

<ok>

Im thinking of sacking Dutch from the MDT's I may be looking at having a Portugese angle on things...

He needs to use the current formation and introduce some better quality in key areas. RB, CF maybe attacking midfield

I know I keep on about this with others, but we play 3-5-2 (ish), we don't want the system ****ing around again, so why do we need a RB; wouldn't a RWB be a better call? I know it would be brill if a player could do both, but experience really doesn't stack that one up. Neither Robbo or Elmo do it (at this level). Money is tight, get a RWB to replace Elmo being absent.

Depends if this silva wants to play 352

Of course, which is why I pointed out, and agreed with, what GLP said about not ****ing about with formation again.

To play 4 at the back, if you buy a RB, who is your LB?

Well would have to be Robertson or tymon, neither really ideal for PL at left back.

I wouldn't switch from 352 either with the personnel we have but was just stating Silva will look at the squad (if he comes) and might see a different formation in it

Exactly. We, all three of us (at least) don't want the formation screwing with, unles LB, RB and striker are bought.

RB/RWB both one and the same. The requirements of the role have simply changed.

Agree he doesn't mess with the formation we look most comfortable in. Time won't allow for that if he wants success.

I think most of us would like to see a proper LB come to the club and Robertson be used further forward, a la Bale...

Shocked at you saying that. There is one big attribute that a RWB needs, whereas a RB can get away without - pace and a bloody good engine.
With what you know now, would you buy either Elmo or Robbo to be specialist FBs, or do you think they are WBs or wingers who are poor defensively ?
