Problem is, add 3 sales would weaken out 1st team squad, under a manager who plays players who are quality.
I'll believe it when I see it - JM could be back at CR doe the game against Saints!!!! http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/james_maddison_will_head_back_to_norwich_city_1_4833397
More rumours concerning Ja. Murphy both Spurs and Liverpool are said to be keen. Liverpool to loan Ja. Murphy back to CR for the rest of the season. Josh Murphy to Everton may be a rumour that has already been floated before?
Well, with a three match ban to serve, we may well have seen the last of his half-arsed efforts in a yellow shirt. So now, Jezzy, you just need to flog Canos to Rangers and Ja Murphy to Loserpool and we'll stick to playing a narrow formation...but have a £££ or two in the bank.
Oooh, Jezzy baby's playing 'hard-ball' http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic..._must_stump_up_12m_for_robbie_brady_1_4834332
Well if we have to sell Brady then £7m is a joke. Poxey's £12m is probably too high so we will probably take £10m. Would Brady want to go to a side that may well be relagated? Offers for Ja. Murphy will probably be derisory as we will be seen as a soft touch. More depressing times to come as this club looks to implode
Just when have we been a soft touch? Most people felt we got good prices for players like Snodgrass, Johnson and Redmond.
And Leroy Fer. But next year, when the remaining 'parachute' nonsense expires, you'll see our true colours, I fear
I know he has been crap this season, but that's not enough. We don't need to sell, and The Prem clubs have all the money in the world. If we let him go for what we got him for, that's terrible business. Especially after his Euros, and the sums reportedly rejected in the Summer. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-launch-7m-bid-Norwich-left-Robbie-Brady.html
Shows what a body blow relegation was last season to the value of any 'assets' we have. The club have said £12m minimum (though I bet they'd take £10m) Last window, the slapped a reserve of £20m on him!
Wells from Huddersfield seems to be a rumour that's sticking. Can't get excited about this transfer but I suspect Lafferty and/or Jerome will be on their way out.
Here's hoping they do hold out for a minimum of £10M and I'm convinced he would rather be somewhere else.
I can't see Jerome going anywhere? He one of AN's 'pets' - though Oliveira has surely, at last, PLEASE? ousted him from automatic selection week after week? Plus he signed a new 3 year contract in the summer, with the option of a fourth year. http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/cameron-jerome-norwich-city-new-contract-3140602.aspx And anyone who watched his 'display' at Brentford would lose interest right quick
I'd take 12M if there were add-ons as well. Prices go mental for premiership clubs. Never when they by from us though. We just get average/discount prices.if they want players, they can pay what they pay all the other clubs.
He just needs a goal or 2 to get his confidence back. Yes he's missing chance he would be banging in if the team wasn't playing so poorly / under pressure. I'd be much more concerned if he wasn't getting the chances in the first place. Jerome is proven quality at championship level and one of the few in the team that always puts in a shift.
I generally agree with you CC. I still think he has an important part to play and can be an effective striker at this level. He is now just what we need, a backup to an inform striker scoring goals. Don't get me wrong, I would still like to see us get someone else in who is better, but he is a tidy player at this level who hopefully from here will represent a good backup option not a starter. Bah!
Unless Jezzy baby decides to cash in on Oliveira, of course, who is bound to have alerted a few clubs. Interesting point made (several times) by Eadie and endorsed by Goreham on comms y'day. Why, more than half way through the season, was yesterday the very first time anyone (apart from the coaching staff ) has seen the movement, chemistry and understanding between Wessi and Nelson? Why wait until 24 games are gone before the most potent threat in ages (Derby were unbeaten in (10) ten prior to yesterday) is unleashed? What's the betting a different permutation is picked for our next league game at Rotherham
This is the problem Neil has though, he's damned if he do or if he don't. Wes was played too much at the start of the season whilst on good form, he was either burned out or figured out. But should Neil be risking playing him back to back matches? His job may depend on it, but surely thats why we have Pritchard as another option. Earlier in the season we weren't struggling for goals, just stopping them, so arguably with Oliveira perportedly not fit enough what was he to do? Don't get me wrong, I would love to see the same combination tear Rotherham apart, but it is a squad game and he must get it right more often with various combos not do one to death! (He'd never do such a thing........would he?) Bah!
OK we now have a rumour circulating with regard to Omar Bogle from Grimsby. Prolific striker in League 2 but could he cut the mustard in Championship? Hope this one is a joke......
