No, it's on Gower. You can see Three Cliffs and Oxwich bays behind.

Mumbles is about 5 miles away.

You're right too, if I'd ****ed up I would have killed him. It would have needed to be a rank bad shank but still.

I wondered if that was three cliffs. I had my old volvo broken into in the car park at the top up there. Cheeky ****ers smashed the window and stole a big bag of weed and all of my underwear.

It's a shame the tide was right in, looks better with a bit of beach on view.

It's a crap pic, my Bro in law took it. Not surprising given he was in the firing line but he could have at least got it focused!

We'll be off down that neck of the woods tomorrow, meant to be lovely weather so walk and the final pub meal of the holiday.

Back to work then Wednesday ffs.

Incidentally, although that pic was taken on the 27th, yesterday I got on with a thee wood followed by hybrid for a simple two putt, four point, birdie.

    Which was nice.

I'm sure you're pleased to hear!!

Well done. I nailed a big drop on my 10'7" in overhead waves down here a few days ago, put in a sweet bottom turn, rose to the tip and then carved a nice big drop knee cutback, right in front of all the hotshot young shortboard rippers.

This old fart has still got it :emoticon-0165-muscl

There were some cracking waves at Langland yesterday. At crab island, you heard of that?

I've heard of it but not surfed it. I've surfed at Llangennith a few times. Crab island is a small offshore reef yes ? Sounds like fun. The only crab island I've surfed is off the coast of Doolin in Co Clare. That place is as hairy as ****. Long paddle out through a rippy channel and you can't really see the size of the waves until you're about 50 metres away. The wave breaks off a boulder point on the edge of the island and is unforgiving. The bottom is basically boulders and kelp covered rock, before it drops away into the deep channel, but the take off over those boulders is ****ing scary.

We were on the coastal path yesterday looking down on it, it is dangerous really.

The locals are very precious about it as well apparently so it's not really cosy and welcoming there!

I've surfed a fair few places around the world, some with a rep for heavy localism. Rincon point in California is a superb wave with an extremely high level of skill amongst the locals and fiercely guarded. I've always found that paddling out, sitting on the shoulder and waiting your turn, being friendly, chatting to people and not acting like a dick, generally will enable you to surf pretty much anywhere.

It's the bellends with an ego who rock up to places, paddle straight for the peak and start hustling for waves that get given a rough time by the locals. I know, because I dish it out in my neck of the woods when 'hotshots' rock up here thinking they can take every wave :)

    Watching the darts.

Earlier I somehow agreed to buy another dog. It was blatant entrapment via a premeditated and carefully thought through plan which started with a family game of Dog Bingo.

Another dog is the last thing we need at the minute!

Is he a lab? They will literally eat anything! Ours also eats the cat's ****, the horses' **** if we take him down by the canal, sticks, mulch...the only thing he won't eat is celery. He once ate a piece of metal that made him bleed when he shat it out.
