I've never owned a dog. My father has and now my sister does. She bought him 3 weeks ago and brought him round for the first time yesterday. It's a ****zu and tbh I was impressed.

Still requires far too much attention which I couldn't possibly commit to. So **** knows how anyone has the time to look after anything bigger!

Is he a lab? They will literally eat anything! Ours also eats the cat's ****, the horses' **** if we take him down by the canal, sticks, mulch...the only thing he won't eat is celery. He once ate a piece of metal that made him bleed when he shat it out.

This is why I don't bother with dogs, daft as ****. Cats all day.

I was a police dog handler in the RAF seen some very big dogs. Putting the suit on and playing bad guy is a buzz that you'll never forget.

Don't have dog now I'll have one when I retire.

I always had dogs when the kids were young. Mostly lab and golden retriever.

Nowadays, much as I like dogs, they're too much of a tie. We like to just take off whenever we feel like it. Can't do that with pets, especially dogs.

I've got a King Charles Spaniel. Only 2 years old so lively as anything still. He's a 1/4 Chihuahua, but all that's done is keep him tiny. He's basically a mini King Charles..

Thick as pig ****, but a lovely dog.

Chasing his tale as I type <doh>

I love King Charles, but their life expectancy isn't that great, so we've been looking at Chavachon's which are a Bishon Frise cross, they live longer and with less health issues apparently, and are incredibly cute to boot.

It's my birthday today, off the match and then out in Liverpool. Got the best present ever, some flying lessons :)

Birthday wishes Tobes.

If your serious about learning to fly, you will need those deep pockets. My son who is / was having lessons (early days) reckons around at least £10k to get the licence. Didn't realise all the "add ons" needed like a medical?

Thanks for the heads up that my dog is going to die early. I'll pass this on to the kids later <doh>

Didn't know that tbf. Mines been fine, no issues whatsoever and passed his 6 monthly MOT's without any problems.

I used to fly loads as a kid with my uncle. Gliders, Tug's, all kinds of ****. Loved it.

My Uncle is known in the pilot circuit as 'Mad Clive'. After leaving the 615 squadron years ago he became a private pilot. Worked with Eddie Irvine doing the Grand Prix tour for years and years and then became Francis Ford Capella's pilot, now he's some banker in Poland's pilot.

He was one of the pilots in The English Patient, and has his own IMDB page.

Tight as arseholes though, and I haven't seen him in over 10 years. ****er <rofl>
