It does make you wonder why they were ever considered pet material.

Rhodesian Ridgeback. He lives for food, but he'll eat anything. He'd be one of those 40 stone men if he was human. I caught him eating a bar of surf wax once and just yesterday he was trying to eat one of the little un's Sylvanian family figures her uncle had bought her for christmas. He's a ****ing nightmare on the beach. Most dogs will scrounge, but he just bowls straight into people's picnics and helps himself. He's got me in a lot of trouble over the years

Our lab is massive. 35kg which is enormous for a lab. He's not fat, just a ****ing big lab!

I've said that if we get another one it has to be a smaller dog but not a ****ing yappy one as Stan likes his quiet.

One of my old dogs caught and ate a rabbit once out on a walk, she basically munched the whole thing in about 5 mins. When we got home, she threw it up all over the lounge floor. It was a fascinating study into rabbit anatomy, it was all laid out, heart, lungs, intenstines, liver, kidneys, bone, muscle, brains, eyes etc. All mixed up in a nice steaming pile of stinking bile.

 

I love the darts and the standard from the QF on is incredible.

Then the BDO ****e kicks in and it's like being transported back to 1982 and watching 2017 Saxton and his mates playing a pub league game.

 

48kg. He's a beast of a dog, but soft as a brush, luckily as otherwise he'd be a problem. Some people cross the road when they see him, but he is a good lad, apart from his disgusting appetite. He's getting old now, he's 12. Which is a good age for Ridgeback. So he's slowing up quite a bit. I lost my Springer Spaniel last December, she was 12, but bonkers until the last day. I reckon the old lad has only got a year or two left. I can't imagine life without a dog, I've grown up with dogs in my family, we always had Labs when we were kids.

 

Our friends have a small, skitzy dog. They went round to their friends' place last year and the dog ate the hosts' pet gerbil.

 

Jack Russell x Yorkshire Terrier so not exactly massive...
