  7. Gooner luv-in on SKY about the instinctive although fundamentally lucky Giroud goal. Presenter calling it the Greatest goal ever and Carragher almost backing him up. FFS!!
    Only Souness offering some balance.

It was so lucky. Fair play it came off but 99 times out of 100 that would never end up in the goal.

Yeah, an ex Spurs player will always be unbiased when it comes to Arsenal. <doh>

The fact that it wouldn't go in 99% of the time shows how incredible it was. Bitter Spuds.

At least he had the decency to do it from an onside position. Unlike some...

  12. Souness had a very brief period with Spurs in the late 60's and left feeling embittered at not having been given more of a chance. He has never demonstrated even the most minimal connection to the club. You might like to do a bit more homework in future. <doh><doh>

Souness is honest as far as pundits go I think. Keeps it real.

    Good connection by Giroud however

You spell it "spurs" ... no "d" .
    Hope that helps

Regardless of who finishes where and the disappointments that may follow for the other teams. There is something hilariously satisfying about City and Pep missing top 4.

I'm not bitter at all. It was a great goal no doubt but it was lucky that it went in the perfect spot to beat the keeper.

Mkhytarian's was technically better, far more composed and he actually placed it where he was aiming it. Too many ABU's to acknowledge it though.

Mkhi actually intended to do it all along, if you watch closely he lengthens his stride as the cross is put in so he can get ahead of the ball <ok>

Yep, you can clearly tell the difference in their approach. One was directed and with purpose (Mkhi) the other was a "try" or hit and hope because the ball had ended up behind him.
