As that goal went in I was checking my prediction for this game. 2-2 as it happens. Prepare for a late winner.
So, having beaten the bottom three teams, The Spammers have possibly saved their PL status and will now go back to not trying until they meet those teams again and play us.
Goal for Stoke. I don't see it doing them any good, a bit like last week when they just pissed the mousers off by taking the lead.

So the Fulham mercs are vulnerable, but they can do more than the Conte 1-0s too if they put their minds to it.
A no-show from Citeh in the first half. Liverpool have let them have the ball and they've given it away and run down blind alleys. With their poor defence, it's hard to see beyond a home win at the moment. Could Citeh miss out on top 4? It looks distinctly possible from what they've shown in the big games this season.
1-0 FT Two important results today; this and the Chelsea game. To concede 2 at home to a desperately poor Stoke side after keeping so many clean sheets recently is massively reassuring in the build up to our showdown at the Lane this week. They are vulnerable and, despite the collective media saying otherwise - there are chinks in the armour. Whenever there's a chance to break into the top 4 we manage to screw it up though, so I'm bracing myself early for a frustrating 1-1 draw at Watford.
I think Pep's got them breathing out of the wrong eyelid. All that attacking talent and they looked bereft of ideas as to how to get at Liverpool tonight. They're very predictable. Liverpool set up to make Citeh pass through them. They just couldn't do it. Add that to a dodgy back line and we should not accept finishing below them this season. They're there for the taking.
Can't quite believe it myself. They've gone for a bloke who has played second fiddle to greater men throughout his career, with a single 6-month blip in charge of a Championship club the only exception to that rule?! What on earth do they think the outcome of this decision will be?!
That is a desperate gamble by a bunch of complete chancers. I didn't get why they got rid of Guidolin so fast [or Monk to be honest]. Betting in excess of £100m on someone with so little experience is bizarre. There are very few industries where a decision this odd would be taken by a business with such a large turnover but it's still a better appointment than Bob Bradley and that says all you need to know about the people running this club. RELEGATION CERTAINTIES.
New managers are expected to lift the whole mood of a club. Clement comes across as far too dour for me to do this at a struggling club. I was never quite sure why they got rid of Monk.
The media (tv) seem to be having a love affair with Liverpool,Man u and City. They don't seem to like the Londoners much and seem to be waiting for a Chelsea car crash.....
Not true, I have had Sky Sports on for most of the day whilst I have been doing stuff around the house, I have found myself smiling 3 times when people (3 current PL players) mentioned how hard it is to break into the top 4 when you have teams like.... 1 said Chelsea, United and City 2 said Chelsea, United and Arsenal in front of you, no mention of Liverpool
Giroud boot high, should be disqualified for dangerous play. Nah, for some reason these scorpions and overhead kicks are ok if they are in the box even if they might end up kicking someone in the head*. Bunch of sour grapes for the new year! * but seriously, put your studs that high next to someone's face outside the box and it's dangerous play (unless you're kicking Walker of course).
