Our Duke 6/1 Leopardstown 1:55 made a very nice start to life chasing when easily beating a good field by 11 lengths at Navan early December. He travelled superbly and kept on well. This is a deep field and will take some winning, arguably you could put a case forward for all 10 of them. If OD can get to the last and be involved, it will take a very good horse to lower his colours.

Exactoris 7/1 - Leopardstown 3:05 joint top weight in here but the 7 lbs claim of Slevin may prove the decisive factor in a tight knit handicap. Apparent JP 2nd string It would be no surprise were he to upset the market leaders (not quite sure how Ruby's mount deserves favouritism here) but time will tell.

Superb

^^^ He KNEW but did he back it, did he feck <laugh>

Imagine what THISTLECRACK would a done on Boxing Day if he was trained by Willie <confused>:emoticon-0105-wink:

Brit members being really drowned-out by the other-side-of-the-pond dwellers today? :emoticon-0100-smile

Nevermind, there's an old saying, "he who laughs last, laughs longest/best."

To think, I backed Petit Mouchoir in the "Fighting Fifth", was going quite well until coming down three out. Not a shekel on him today, Woe is me! <doh>

De Bromhead has improved Petit Mouchoir a lot, just like Elliot has with Don Poli and Outlander.

Faugheens form not looking to hot now, not sure he has beat anything other than Nicholls Canyon in the last 3 years? Lets not forget this is an animal who was beaten 26L by Telescope.

Not looking good for Mullins is it? Youd be amazed if he won anything more than the Mares at Cheltenham.

Beefy aftertiming Rathnure Rebel last night then aftertimes the winner of his race today <rofl>

Tips Briar Hill then claims Our Duke because he was sweet on him for a bumper 3 years ago <laugh>

great entertainment

Our Duke showed his liking for chasing again and wins a G1 on his 2nd outing over fences for Jessie Harrington. An RSA would be right up his street as a target for March. If he gets into a battle, it's hard to see something out staying him up the hill and I'd hope they go there over a JLT.

Exactoris was in a minefield of a betting market before the off (7/1 into 4's) with the other JP runners Aspen Colorado (11/1 into 7's) and Stretchingthetruth who drifted out to 11/2 before being sent off 7/2 favourite right on the drop of the flag. First To Boogie who I initially ruled out proved a well handicapped animal and it was indeed Slevin's 7lb claim that proved decisive in the finish where he saw off an all action ride from Ruby Walsh to score well. A huge win for Joseph.

Been a good few days with Noble Endeavour, Outlander and these 2 today obliging. Long may it continue.

Well done on the winners lads.NC let me down on a decent pay out but I suppose I was being somewhat greedy doing a five timer!.Luckily Quick Gabim bailed me out of jail in the last. Need to wash my punting pants now and take a couple of days off me thinks.

GOAT my arse. That's Nicholls Canyon today and Djakadam yesterday who have both run a stone below their official rating (funny how both were heavily punted). Mopping up novice races at 1/4 will no longer be good enough - he has real competition in Ireland now.

Does Mullins have a Champion Hurdle horse? All in the fecking sick bay. Could be Yanworth fighting it out with The New One at this rate ....................... <laugh>
