An 18 month ban to go with it. But I expect he can afford a cab!...:)

No boxing day gifts for us so far, unless Hull pull off the unthinkable. Possibly the most predictable set of results this season.

So how did the sight of 30,000 of the happy clappers fighting against the "injustice" of Jamie Vardy being banned for three matches for a studs-up two-footed lunge from behind work out?

This picture should tell a story...

Will anyone apart from his current wife remember him in 10 years? Talk of the movie's gone eerily silent.

City now 3-0 up against Hull. Not ideal but it does mean that:
    A) I finally got an exact scoreline right in the prediction league
    B) My manager owes me £20
    C) We can't go 4th on Wednesday, which means we'll win

FFS. I had that as 0-2 and apart from the Chelsea result I had a complete nightmare again. I'm on 6 points after games.<yikes>

I received a drunken voicemail from my manager on the 92nd minute saying something along the lines of 'thanks for Dawson and thanks for the £20'. At full time I simply sent him a text saying 'you're most welcome'.

I think I'll use my winnings to take the kids to see 'Jamie Vardy: The Movie'. Critics are already calling it "the greatest comedy since Monty Python". Can't wait.

That's the thing that worried me most about the talk of a movie: we'd be cast as the villains, and no doubt depicted as a combination of Don Revie's Leeds and Billy Zane's character in Titanic

...which is pretty much how we're getting depicted by the press at the moment, now that I think of it.

Well we do have a chairman who'd make an excellent Bond villain...

Could be worse, we could have a chairman who looks like someone out of a Cold War thriller...

In movie terms, I picture Spurs as more like Wormtongue from Lord of the Rings.

Not even close. We're somewhere in between Inspector Clouseau and George from Blackadder.

You lot on the other hand are a straight cross between Scar and Jar Jar Binks.

I'm going to guess that you had the sound off.

The best real-life comparison for Grima Wormtongue is Nigel Farage, who uses lies and deception to weaken the Kingdom of Rohan and make Saruman's conquest of Middle Earth that much easier - sort of like how UKIP use lies and deception to weaken the vote for the non-Tory candidates on the ballot.

Funnily enough, this also sounds remarkably like the transfer strategies of Man Utd, Chelsea and Los Ladrones do Madrid...

I see Chelsea as Lucius Malfoy. Text book baddie but without Voldemort's patronage just a little bit wimpy.

This might be random, but was just wondering why Ariana Grande is your signature? <laugh> She's got a very attractive face, but her body is like a child's!
Really puts me off, which is a shame, because she has potential!

Good grief that Mhykhitariaynanan (sp?) scored a beauty of a goal. Shame he was about a yard offside when the cross came in <doh>
