I'm waiting for the outlaws to come... 20 minutes late already. Gives me more time to get leathered and force a smile

Necked a bottle of Black Sheep at her mams this morning at about 10ish. 2 bottles of fizzy pink stuff already gone with er in doors and the kids(25 and 22). Onto A bottle of Valpolicella now waiting for the pot noodle to be served.

Last nights frivolity is a distant memory but there were some lovely ladies in my local.

Brut special reserve (how it used to smell)
    Other smelly stuff
    Socks
    Jumper
    Book
Other joint gifts for me and our lass. Which is generally stuff for her.

    Feeling ravenous now.

The smell of goose and all the trimmings is wafting up from the kitchens and I'm pinned down by the sleeping little 'un. Torture I tells you.

Can't even reach for me nut cracker.

As for drinks. I'm on-call today and in work tomorrow so that's put the skids on that one.

    Merry Christmas.

    On the Baileys.

My mum brought it with her, it's orange truffle flavoured. It's alright but I wouldn't buy it, original is best.

Served as per Ernies advice; 3 lumps of ice.

Lunchtime in the local: 3 pints of Beeston Brewery's 'Afternoon Delight' (3.9% on the taps, but 3.7% on their website?); 2 singles of Laphroaig.

    Lift home by a coffee-drinker.

    All sorted.

All the best, all of you. <cheers>

Bloody hell, Ernie; either the pollen counts high or I just filled up. Might be the Port.

Thinking about the cheese now. Apparently it's the done thing to eat the rind when you have Brie. I'll give it a go, but it doesn't look promising.
