You totally missed the point mate. Of course i dont play down his championships in italy, spain, holland and france but how many Champions league , europaleague and uefa-cup titles he has? ZERO....! That was the point i was trying to tell you.... Sweden has nothing to do with it. He has played with super team mates and superteams but have t win any international succsses. If that is garbage so be it.

You did play down the league titles by saying he ‘should have won a few already’, as if it wasn’t a big deal if he has won a few. Should he have won 10 of them though? Or 11 (think one at Juventus knocked off due to corruption with the refs)

Also he won the champions league with Barcelona in 2011. Has never been a uefa cup man as he almost always wins the league

Alex Ferguson won that competition or its equivalent twice in 27 years so he’s not doing too badly.

Could win it again this year as well

Plus forget all that. He’s won 10 league titles but how many European trophies. Ypu’ve said all that against being pleased he never played for us!!!!!!!
Mental

I can only think of 2 players who are arguably better than Zlatan today - Messi and Ronaldo. But I can think of many who I'd put in a World Arsehole 11 before him, but not too many of them would be football players!.

Well them being football players was the whole point of the XI.

He has never won the champions league. Not with barca and not with any other team. Check your facts mate. Once again i was not trying to play his championships down i was only trying to say that he has never won a major international european thorphy (club). What is so difficult in this?

A story emerges about a player who has 9 league titles across 4 major leagues. Due to win his 10th at the end of the season!!!!! Who could have signed for us.

But some of our fans blessed with the likes of Brett Angell, Sammy Koejoe, Marcus Nygaard, Andy ‘No Goals’ Johnson, Mikel Beck and Michael Ngoge during his era are glad we didn’t ever add him to that list.

Saw Leonardo on MOTD last week (he signed Ibrahimovic for PSG). They asked him about the emerging English talents like Sterling and Barkely. He said England have never had a truly great player; a Pele, a Messi, a Cristiano Ronaldo, a Maradona or a Romario because our mentality is different.

He said we don’t allow ego’s and individuals we crush players into fitting into a team ethic. But he said that’s where we go wrong because special players with special abilities need to be allowed this ego and indivudality. Leonardo said all those players a great because of this ego and indviuality “which allows them to be better than they really are”.

So I’m not surprised to have negative baseless commetns about him. Its why Adel was never accepted by many and never will be and soon Morrisson and Barkley will have the individuality crushed and battered out of them until the exert more energy running around for the team and instead of trying a shot or pass that no normal ‘team player’ wwould try they’ take the easy ball.

Such a shame that this country still has that mentality that stops us winning any international honours.

Wow so true well said my friend well and truly said!!

On the other hand, the Germans prove a team wins over a talented group of individuals, looks at how the golden Dutch generation did and then compare them to the much less talented Germans.

You dont go far with one great individual player. For example Zlatan has always played with best players in the serie. You have to go so far as the maradona time in napoli when a superstar almost singlehanded won the championship. Nowadays you need great team with few superstars to win something in a premier league, bundesliga, serie a and la liga......

its not just the mentality that stops us winning international honours..we haven't got the skills either!

Law of averages due to your location means you're at leaset tipsy which gives good reason why you cant see the magician that is Ibrahimovic. Repeat to yourself again 10 yes 10 League Winners medals across the best Leagues of Europe.

I fekin mean Championsleague, europaleague or UEFA-league. Not Serie A, not La Liga, not Bundesliga, Not Premier League and not Ligue 1 or not Eredivision! Zlatan has won tons of national league championships (10 yes i know!)and that is great achievment BUT HE HAS NOT WON (once again)CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, EUROPALEAGUE or UEFA CUP! Having played in such great clubs as Juventus, Milan, Inter, Barca etc. it is bit strange he has not win any of those and havent even been in a final. I believe that is bothering ZlatAn also....

Ten championships is fantastic in itself, but it is his record of having won eight consecutive league titles that really sets him apart. Imagine changing clubs and leagues and still win it year after year. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to find the common denominator.
