No different to the utd claim of Henderson £20m, when he was £15m-£16m.

Still, nice to see you go a step further. We like average English 'talent', of championship quality, at a high price. Whereas you just go straight for the Championship.

Where is this claim exactly?

And do you think it's better to buy championship qulity from a premier league club at premier league prices than just buying from the championship?

Good for you if you do.

<ok>

The difference being Henderson was around £15 million up front with add ons possibly taking it up to £20 million if he succeed, whilst Zaha is £10 million up front with add ons possibly taking it up to £15 million if he succeeds.

So yeah, both £15 million <ok>

I heard Djemba Djemba referred to as the Cameroonian Cantona <laugh> Can only assume that was down to his first name and absolutely nothing else.

He was more like the Cameroonian Cartman.

In the Guardian. That well known Utd controlled paper, just like every other media source in the western hemisphere.

Do try to keep up...

Yeah, that's how he was announced with much fanfare, the African Cantona.

Was at his debut, charity shield in Cardiff. We couldn't wait to see this bloke and it was clear before my bleary beer addled eyes from the second he first kicked the ball we'd been sold a pup.

Eric DD could fit in nicely in a midfield of Henderson, Allen and Downing.

Do you think the majority of our Scouse brethren will be as non-plussed about their next signing as most of us seem to be about Zaha? Or will they **** themselves into a frenzy over a player they know **** all about or, in the case of Ince, they deemed not good enough to be a Liverpool squad player a couple of years ago?

I'm sure they will find some random stat to cling on to no matter who it is, like Downing's crossing stats which was proof he was going to be a world beater in a red shirt, especially with Andy "the white Heskey" Carroll as his target. <laugh>

We'll find out if they actually manage to beat Southampton to Coutinho. You know the club is at an all time low when they are about to lose two players in a row to relegation candidates...

@stevebartram1: Zaha: "I'm delighted to be joining Manchester United and ending the speculation. I thank the owners at Palace for making the move possible."

good god some of them are sad, calling him average, they seem to forget that he supported them when he was growing up, if he'd joined them instead of us, i bet you they would call him world class.

Wilfried Zaha has passed his medical at Manchester United. Five-and-a-half year deal reported to have been signed.

i'm really excited about him joining us, you can see why Fergie jr told him to his dad, 15 million in today's market is a bargain compared to other fees clubs have paid to get players.
