Suppose for arguments sake you were the Sunderland manager :

1. Where are we going wrong (or is everything fine)?
2 How do we correct it?
3. Who would you buy (realistically) to make our team as strong as possible and get a top half of the table finish and a good cup run?

Now this isn't a windup and i don't believe the wkends result is the end of the world but i do believe we have problems and need them sorting out.

1. We don't pass the pass around as well as we could at times and sometimes get the headless chicken approach when pressured.
2. We need to play players in their natural positions.
3. I don't know but i do know we need a natural LW and a striker.

2. Buy a striker to improve goal scoring/finishing and a left winger to improve service/width/balance.

3. Xherdan Shaquiri/Nico Kranjcar and Defoe/Pav/Borrielo (available at Roma)

I'd have to go pants free for hours, there'd be a constant stream of it.

no seriously. if i was safc manager i'd be havin a long hard think about my team selection, and wondering why, i bought so many decent players, and then i'd be wondering why the **** i didn't play them...

I would go to Quinn and Short, "OK I know I have brought in 10 players this season, but i have only really spent the Henderson money, a lot were free transfers (so much for shopping at Harrods) I have only spent 17 million in 2+ seasons (6 transfer windows), Stoke have spent 80 million, and last year I got in loans galore to cover us, now all those have buggered off, and because they played so well for us, their price has doubled, or their parent clubs just dont want to sell, We desperatly need a LB a LW and another striker, but no 18 year olds with potential, we need a 15-20 goal a season striker, if you can find one, as they dont grow on trees, he has to be able to support Gyan as well, so good luck finding one"
