I'll have to watch it again I didn't really notice that, watching 3 screens at the same time doesn't work <laugh>
Maybe he didn't want to put him under pressure - or maybe Power wants to hang onto the right back spot for himself.

I saw it three times during the Game. Anyone else?

Or was I seeing things?

Younger looks like a great prospect, what's up with Power?

I noticed it once but I thought it was because he wasn't sure about an interception. Power is a good lad and I don't think he would have anything against someone else doing well at RB, if anything he'd be happy about it because he'd rather play in midfield.

Think you're reading too much into it tbh mate.

Younger looked good today, first time I've had a decent look at him. He looked like
a CB out of position but that's fine, he can move into the middle when we finally sign a RB.

Not been a great fan of Power, thought he was going stale under the stale boss Parky.
But since being ‘relegated’ in a way to right back during our defensive shortfall, his enthusiasm has returned and put good shifts in R. Back & midfield.
So l too think you are over-cooking the cake a little. :emoticon-0166-cake:
I think he actually was protecting Younger. Not wanting to put him under undue pressure maybe. He deffo gets the benefit of the doubt from me.

Agree, cracking prospect is Younger and Power is a great servant to our club.

Centre back for me. Thought he looked good defensively but when asked to play in the final third he was rather poor and wasteful on the ball. But as he usually plays centre back, it's to be expected.

power is getting a bit too much up his own arse fo me, this angry rant at his own team mates is becoming a regular feature lately, maybe needs to look at his own shortcomings before pulling others up. typical scousey gobshite.

I've thought this way for a while, there's something just a little fake about him. I don't think he's the right man for captain in the long term and he does seem to be overpaying his part. It's not a big issue, for me, but I don't think I'll ever take to him. As you say he makes enough mistakes, is out of position too often and gives the ball away too much to be raging at team mates.

Younger was showing for the ball and should've been given it, early on, to let him settle imo.

Olly is a centre back and should be played in a back three for now with Sanderson and O/9 until either McLaughlin or Wright are fully fit and then we can finally move O/9 into a midfield position with Power Scowen and Gooch. Front three of McGeady, Wyke and Jones, and get Neil and Diamond on for 30 mins of every game possible. Job Done

Is power one of the ones out of contract. If we get promoted i'd let him go if so. Hes not good enough for the championship imo.

I'm fully in agreement with those sentiments, and team line ups just so long as we keep McFazz anarl out have the chance to win every one
