I think he'll be ok with that aspect of injuries, as the way that he picked up this one was so bizarre and had nothing to do with anyone else.
If he'd have picked it up in a challenge or someone had gone in recklessly then I think it might've been an issue.

I'm just wondering whether he will have 100% confidence in the knee now, that could affect his decision making in any situation - whether similar to the injury situation or not.

True. Might depend upon how strong it feels and how well the recovery goes. It seems to be going well and he appears to be a confident, positive person, so I hope it won't be an issue.

That doesn't quite follow mate. Impact doesn't make an injury worse, some of the worst injuries do happen all by yourself, for example if you remember Djibril Cisse snapped his tib 'and' fib just running and falling awkardly.

Not trying to put the mockers on our Sandro of course, I'm more than glad to hear he's well on the mend, and i also don't think he'd play at all if he couldn't get stuck in as he likes to, half hearted challenges and Sandro....not in the same sentence for me! :)

I'm not talking about the physical aspect of his recovery Notso, but the mental one.
