Should have started with something easier like what did you have for breakfast.

However after much brain strain I've got Hope You Like It, by Geordie as first album. Had all there early singles too but can't remember all the titles, first on the old Decca label then onto the red and orangey brown EMI label.

In the 60s went with my ma to buy a Dansette record player, she bought a few **** singles but let me choose one, I chose Rolling Stones - Not Fade Away. I'm not 100% sure of my first single with my own money, think it was something by The Who. positive on my first album though, it was Small Faces - Ogdens Nut Gone Flake; bought with money from delivering papers around Spyvee St, Brazil St, Hodgson St etc etc

And following on from the above another memory came back to me, I sold that first album and their second which I thought was called All Because Of You, but was actually Don't Be Fooled By The Name to the record shop in paragon station to fund an away trip to see City. Straight from record shop to outside YEB cash in hand.

I wonder how much they would be worth now?
