And following on from the above another memory came back to me, I sold that first album and their second which I thought was called All Because Of You, but was actually Don't Be Fooled By The Name to the record shop in paragon station to fund an away trip to see City. Straight from record shop to outside YEB cash in hand.

I wonder how much they would be worth now?

I recall buying 'Spiral Scratch' Buzzcocks, first press, quite rare now, from a little record shop in or around Paragon Station? and the Clash first album from a record shop across the Road (don't know the street)that you went downstairs too(I lived up here at the time but we were always down visiting my gran). That Clash album was the original pressing and came with a voucher to send away for the Capitol Radio EP,I still have both and the EP is worth £2-300.

the shop in paragon station was shakespeare's. colin shakespeare used to be a band leader in the area.

Does anyone remember a record shop on Hessle Road, I think two brothers owned it. It was on that little block of shops opposite Gillett Street, next to the bakery...?
