Yeh, everytime I go past BP, I look and think wow, first time (most times, even the bad times) I went there was fu#king ace. You look and think what a bleeding shame, then you look round the KC and think were the **** did this lot (20,000 fans) come from?

I know it's not policy to read people's posts before you criticise them, but if you bothered to, I've always said that I distinguish between the two reigns of AP, undoubtedly he saved the club 10 years ago, and should be regarded as a legend for that, but that his second spell has been blighted by poor decisions because I feel he's letting personal feelings getting in the way and not acting in the best interests of the club (even if he intends to).

Anyway, back on topic, I remember this Orient game, I think it was either my second or third game seeing City, I was about 9, didn't really realise it was such a big deal until I looked back on it.

pretty much what I think, amazing how so many fans suddenly appeared from nowhere, meant hard to get tickets and where did the 4,000 disappear to after we got relegated. How much do you reckon when we do go back up suddenly we have a full house again

Why are you surprised that the more successful we are the more fans we get?

Some of you sound like disgruntled teenagers when your fave indie band reaches number one.

not surprised just unimpressed with the 'loyalty' of some fans. Some of them will be saying I was at Wembley when we got promoted and when we started off in the Premier League, but now we're not there, they're aren't bothered. Where were some of 10 years ago

Brian Littlle: "........It was the same situation if we stopped at a hotel for a pre-match meal. The players were not being paid at the time and ended up becoming very resilient. They started taking Tupperware boxes on our away trips and filling them with all the food that they couldn’t eat. That way, it meant we had a meal for the way home as well....."
Can anyone imagine the players of today doing that!

You've come a long way. Must be a good feeling to be punching above your weight, we've been punching below ours for far too long now.

The fundamental problem that Leeds United have, is that they'll never be as big as their fans ego's.

People will read these articles and understand why he has been dubbed 'Sir' Adam by the clubs fans. Never before has one man done so much for Hull City. A true Tigers legend.
