They’re seriously in danger of relegation, can’t see them scoring over 200 in their second innings to win going on current form. Shame if they do, with all the potential talent they have.

Bess and Thompson giving it a good go, just 90 needed at tea. You never know.

true.

the only real difference so far has been the 122 stand on gloucestershire's 2nd innings.

Pity Harry Brook, Joe Root and David Bairstow aren't playing. A large reason why they are down there struggling

We have struggled for many reasons this year.
  • Root, Bairstow, Malan, Brook, Willey and Rashid all unavailable at various times through England duties.
  • Thompson, Kohler-Cadmore, Lyth playing in The Hundred
  • Key bowlers such as Fisher, Coad and Leach missing through injury for most of the season
  • Overseas players have for the most part been a waste of space
On the plus side young players like Hill (he'll be in the England squad soon), Revis and Loten coming through.
