If they applied the PPG formula then they wouldn't have finished top and as such went into the playoffs

No they were clear at the top when COVID-19 started
Why were they not automatically promoted like Coventry were in league 1

Devastated for them. Been to loads of York games as most of my mates support them, so have a great affinity to them. Steve Watson had them performing well but typical York, blew it when it mattered.

I hate seeing them down there mate, I went a couple there games when I was younger and seeing a lass from that way.

Good little club, should always be in the league.

Being from that neck of the woods it certainly sucks. With their new stadium etc they need to get league football. It wouldn't surprise me if they went part time soon enough, though
