Im not troll or wum whatever that is, why cant someone support him? After all he has done for the Club, i dont understand why everyone is so against him, i understand he doesnt come across very well, and i can see how he winds people up

If the pro name change camp want to prove their case, all they need to do is raise some noise at matches. They don't even need a new chant - "we say "yes" Allam" will do nicely.

Personally, I think they would struggle to raise more than a squeak, but if the majority join in, I will admit defeat and AA can change the name with no further opposition from me.

CTWD are not in the "taking over the club business".

There is a proposal to move towards some sort of share ownership (through a purported Supporters' Trust) which I believe which is a positive move, fans could theoretically have a say in their own club.

Finally, the Allams are custodians, not lifelong owners

Actually, there's a couple of CTWD that are quite wealthy, not with a spare £100m kicking about, but rubbing pennies wouldn't be an issue.

I suspect that many of the no voters were not arround during the Fish/Dolan - Hinchcliffe/Buchanan - Lloyd/Wilby years. During those very dark days a name change for what we have now would not have been an issue at all. Some people want it always round.
