Apparently on his way. What do we all make of it?

I saw him for USA in the World Cup and really rated him, actually posted on here I wanted us to go for him at the time.

Only problem is, I'm not sure if he's what we need now. From what I recall, he was good going forward, fast as ****, but suspect defensively. Anyone able to alleviate my fears?

I recall me and you (I think...) discussing him, the lad is lightning quick, and very good on the ball, I can see no negative in this signing.

He is, as you say, and like most, not exactly Bobby Moore defensively but his pace can get him out of trouble, and he will improve. Also able to play RM.

Other benefits, keeps us a US player in the squad which is great for profile, adds more pace, more depth again.

No chance of a permanent deal on this one I don't think, but lots of positives in my eyes and another very astute bit of business. I'm positive for the season now, really happy.

That will do for me. Thank you sir. <ok>

Think I mentioned him the other day Funky, when it was made clear he'd be available for loan, got buried under the Toivenen stuff.

He's next level quick, he really is. You've seen nowt like it.

I think he is decent defensively, but definitely fast as ****. shame we can't tie this one into a permanent, but good getting him in before the shutters come down.

I've seen David Bellion. Lightning fast. But no point playing a sprinter who can't kick a ball! Might as well offer a contract to Ussain Bolt!!

You never know. They've got Walker and just bought Tripper, both 24. we've got Gooch coming thru too - couple of turncoats to talk funny together.
I never thought we'd get paddy but here he is... not defending.

Walker is finished mate, he was looking genuinely decent, but since the injury he's ****ing awful, shot to bits.

i do rate Trippier mind, was surprised we never looked at him. Would have likely went Spurs anyway of course.

Yedlin was amazing at the World Cup. I think he is a great signing and while I wish he was a permanent, it was really a left back we needed. PVA has no pressure for his place.
