There will be more places like that bombed to goad us in to intervening, this wii give him excuse to say we are war with Russia, we must avoid this at all costs and literally ignore this barbaric nut case what ever he does. I believe sanctions will eventually win.

Doesn't stop us giving Ukraine more and better weapons..

The one thing that comes out of this is that without the nuclear threat not one country should be concerned about the mighty red army.

Be interesting to hear the thoughts on their tactics / lack of apparent progress from the lads on here that have been in the forces

Their tactics are being mocked on Twitter pretty much by the hour...

Those American B-52 bombers are still cruising around, joined by a few friends on a 'joint exercise' over the Alps now...

That is why a compromise is key here in my opinion. It's not just Russia. China, India and Pakistan are behind them. That is seriously www3 if it escalates. You can take the moral high ground but not much use if the world is turned to radioactive dust. Was that the right, moral decision in hindsight? It's not about right and wrong when the stakes are this high, it's about a good outcome or a not really catastrophic one in any event.
So tough this stuff but small political errors can create unnecessary further massive devastation. Not the time to posture and be right, in my opinion, but the time to look for solutions and long term peace. Let's hope this works out in some way, there can be no winners really.
Things must be bad if India and Pakistan are on the same side
