I do not believe this

The charge relates to the confusion surrounding QPR striker Charlie Austin's second disallowed goal in the space of two minutes, when his team-mates surrounded referee Mike Dean to appeal his decision.

Dean awarded City a free-kick when their goalkeeper Joe Hart misdirected the ball into Austin's path, who smashed it into the back of the net.

Since Hart had accidentally taken two touches before clearing, Premier League rules dictated that his goal kick had to be retaken.

Confused by the referees decision, seven of QPR's outfield players surrounded Dean to protest about the disallowed goal.

Beth, are you sure not spoof web page?? Nothing happened, did it??

It's there in black and white on the farce association website, apparently Sunderland have also been charged with the same offence from an incident in the Everton game......you couldn't make it up!!

We all know what the abbreviation FA stands for.

Perhaps if the referee explained what the ruling was as most of the crowd and even some commentators/experts didn't know if the decision was correct or not. What did they expect players with a passion to do?

If the FA had any conviction, they would start penalising refs for their poor performances.

Think it's about time the FA were fined for failing to control the referees, he yellow carded one QPR player after an other without dishing the same out to Citee players, he was S***

Don't you just love 'em? What about the dickhead with the whistle?

Yes indeed, Mike Dean is likely the person who instigated this bogus charge, what a little prick, a "big team" ref biased against us for many important decisions in that game.....and to think TF's Tune company sponsors them:-

Mike Dean – Where black is the colour, where none is the number

Let’s have a look at the Referee:
•Full name: Mike Leslie Dean
•Date of birth: 02-Jun-1968 (Age 44)
•Place of birth: The Wirral
•Resides: Cheshire
•EPL/ECH Referee Since: 1999/2000
•EPL/ECH Games to date: 308

So he lives in Cheshire, a Manc ref? - this article makes for some interesting reading:-

Unbelievable. Am I right in thinking joe hart/city didn't receive any punishment for virtually head butting a referee recently?

Sky covered the match and NOTHING was said about any players behaving badly or intimidating the referee. The only thing commented on was that Dean let Man City players off yellow cards and then gave us cards for the same thing. Shocking.

It's always us, of course we got to question the decision over the goal but we didn't go OTT, dean should be suspended due to poor quality of handling the match & FA should get a grip.

That's ok, in the past couple of weeks Julian Speroni had his face re-arranged by Dawson's elbow and Sergio Aguero got away with a studs-up tackle against West Ham, so he wouldn't have played against us if other refs were doing their job properly and the FA was taking action where it should be.

As I've said before, the FA is full of little Hitlers throwing their weight about on trivialities but decisions that are for the good of the game come a poor second...

Perhaps the R's players should have hounded him more over Agueros' handball for the first goal, at least make the charge worthwhile......

Good point. I said after the West Ham game and then again against Chelsea that the players don't seem to give a sh*t when a wrong penalty decision goes against them. A halfhearted protest from Robert Green was the sum total of our protests in all three games. Where's their sense of injustice? I know there's F-all chance of the Ref changing his mind but at least it might deter future Refs from thinking we're a soft touch.

Just a complete joke. The farce association chaired by Brentfords life long fan and ex chairman Greg Dyke f**k up again!
