We showed Owen Foster the door and he got snapped up by Middlesbrough. A local kid who wanted to play for City and do well. The logic of letting him go, then bring in someone else who isn't any better is, frankly, mind boggling. Only, my beloved, HCAFC can shoot themselves in the foot, over and over again.

Not sure about Foster, but agree Phillips looks no better than TLT.

Strange position to be in. Worrying about depth at GK when we've usually had about 5 to pick from.

Feel for the travelling fans tonight however it’s a lot more positive than it was a month ago, Played some good football yet undone with one mad minute. Hopefully tonight will be a big learning curve though because 3 1 up you’ve got to defend well. If they do and are in a similar situation let’s hope they have learnt a harsh lesson. Looking ahead the first thing we have got to do is start winning more home games, last season was shocking at home, it all starts again on Sunday so let’s hope for a positive start.

Too much rotation of subs cost us there, which probably wouldn't happen in a league game.

Anyway, so far its been night and day from much of last season. At this stage I'm just looking for improved performances and patterns of play, which are already apparent.

Enjoyed watching us for first time in a while.

fatigue on hughes part, is such a lame answer, hes not infallable
he ****ed up, it is what it is

we learn

He does **** up. I've been saying that and got shot down.

But late in the game against a 19 year old kid with fresh legs after you've just been switched to to your 'wrong' side - like I say, it happens.

Especially after he's dealt with everything else thrown at him for 90 mins it's not time to get the pitchforks out

Palmers 33
Not 19

Think youre confused

Hughes let palmer outjump him to the ball to equalise

Nor is it getting the pitchforks out

Just not saying hughes was a ickle bit tired is a valid excuse, especially when it was in normal time

OK on Palmer's age, but still you've got 20 mins running Vs 180 in 4 days.

TBH I think if the back 4 isn't disrupted they probably see it out.

Like I alluded to before, the only way that change happens in a League game is through injury.
