I am torn on this one, I think he is better than Bendtner but I still think he is lazy. I don't think MON will fancy him although he is a MON type player. When you look at players like Milner, Downing, Dunn etc... their careers were all stalling, MON got hold of them and made them realise their potential.

We need a striker as Bendtner is not the right man for us, but who that is the question?

A definite no, he wouldn't fit in with MON hard work philosophy. I'm still amazed at the article I read that said that MON had to stop the players playing on x boxes and play stations in training. What on earth was Bruce doing? It's time to be honest and say he also wasted 8 million on whickham, he will never make a premier league footballer. Maybe, Danny Graham from Swansea could do a decent job though.

Bit early to write off whickham, he's not looked great but at that age he's likely to be very inconsistent. Add to that the injury he got and the lack of first team playing for the first time in his short career plus (and i think people under-estimate this sometimes) the fact the lad has had to move the length of the country then i think there are alot of reasons for him being below-par. Loan him out to a championship side and get him back for some O'Neil style pre-season then judge him at the end of next season i'd say.

Wickham in the u-21.....still time for him.

i loved the big man, but if he played as well as he actually could do he'd be playing for a big big club! however, he appears lazy, so the answer is no.
