Take promotion now, if it meant not winning the title?

Silly question, it's just trying to gather all of your objectives. I'd personally feel very disappointed if we were to lose out on top spot- promotion would somewhat feel not being enough.

But on the other hand, August of last year I couldn't have dreamed of anything being better than promotion.

Having been this far ahead for so long, not winning the title would be a big blow. Automatic would be a terrific consolation though. But going up as Champions would give great momentum for next year. Its absolutely not in the bag though - we need to pull our socks up! If we win our next five games I reckon we'll be home and hosed (big word "if"!)

DO THEY?? - Is it like SportsDay where even the team who finishes 24th get something as well these days?

Have to admit I'd take Promotion but after being top since Sept I'd be heartbroken not to have the joy of seeing Jacko lifting the trophy on May 5th
 
Although i do have my birthday weekend sorted already with Jacko lifting the trophy on 5th, Sea Fishing in the Solent on 6th and Rose Bowl to watch Hampshire play someone on 7th to detox from the footy and fishing - what a birthday weekend that would be !

I would have been content for this season to be a consolidating season before making the push for promotion next season, so it's far, far exceeded my expectations.

Promotion is the ultimate goal, being Champions is just icing on the cake.

Sweet, thick crunchy icing...
 
What better way to get out of this wretched division than winning the title, eh?

Let's leave League One with a BANG!

I don't only want the championship, I want to beat Fulham's 101 points record!!

We are well on course, my only fear is once we are over the line we will take our foot off the gas as we did in 2000 under Curbs!

What he said! Let's break every record. If we win it with a few games left we can take the straitjacket off and really go for the flowing football.
 
I have a VIP seat thing booked as my 21st birthday present for the last game of the season. Anything other than title winner would not be good enough,
