Being serious for a second

The laying off of police officers is not just the govt fault.

The issue is compounded by greedy coppers who looked for ways to increase their own incomes and meant more money spent on middle management or "speciality" policing over the pure and simple Bobby on the beat.

Ultimately people blame the govt as they don't see the **** our public services give govts to get their own way. Then when **** hits the fan it's all about "yeah but cuts" "yeah but money"
