Diving. No, not what you lot are thinking, highboard diving. Think they should do it in the shallow end to make it more exciting. No, not what you lot are thinking.
I quite like the odd sports that you only ever really see in the Olympics, like shooting, table tennis, archery etc. Admittedly they're not edge of your seat stuff but a small dose (not that type) every 4 years suits me fine. Dull sport for me = horses in any format
OK crap sports where do I start?..... OK sync swimming wtf? Watched a bit of rugby league this morning...turned off as was bored out of my mind... union all the way for me! AFL, might be in Australia, but still havn't got that one. Tried watching american football and baseball and think I would prefer my eyes being gouged out with a spoon. Women's tennis... stop grunting and hit the ball then you might get a match half as good as the men's game. The worst by far.... basketball ... charge down one end.... charge down the other all played by 7 foot tall freaks. To improve it either put a dwarf/midget in each team and make them have to pass to them in the move to allow them to score. Or another thing like a player on each side with a crank to alter the height of the basket when they are defending or have the basketball explode every 5 or 7 mins at random
Rugby League = quality sport. Living in Norwich I don't go to many games but if you want a cracking day out the Challenge Cup final at Wembeley is brilliant as is the grand Final at Old Trafford. Went to both last season and got change from £50 which is brilliant value for money. Even better it is not too hard to get a ticket if you book early. The other good thing is that there is no play acting or diving and in a rugby league crowd I always feel quite slim and handsome which is not strictly the case in the real world!
Squash is a shocking spectator sport. Watch two players walking from the wall to the centre for about 10 minutes, then one gets in the others way and they have to replay the bloody point! What the hell is Olympic Sailing all about as well. Watch various boats milling about for an hour or two and somehow somebody wins the race. Repeat about 10 times! How could they be improved? Squash should be played with obstacles, and targets. Sailing, with mines, sharks etc.
I cannot believe it has taken until the last post to mention sailing - what the ****! That has to be the most boring sport to watch ever. Nothing happens! Don't get me wrong I bet its great fun to do but its a complete joke to try to watch on the tele!
