I feel a little guilty I must admit.

But there are always two parties to a every contractual deal.

Koeman is no mug either. He would not have agreed to join if there wasn't money and a plan.

Well, that's very nice, measured and logical. Ever considered he might be using Saints as a stepping stone [guess what, it's happened before], so he's not hugely bothered, just as long as there's a wee bit of money being invested.

I'm just peeved. I don't get worried about football. Not really. I'm trying not to get too annoyed either. No point in things like this ruining the weekend. About time we had another great escape anyway. I think people are forgetting that we are the masters of it.

I will only be pissed if Jay goes.(but at hjm mainly)
 
Stepping stone such a strange phrase to use. For most players if they do well and a bigger club comes in then they will want to leave, makes every club a stepping stone apart from the very top few clubs

Yeah, I can see why. After all the support he's had following his injury. But from his point of view, his mates, and our best players have left the party. I'd be worried if I were him that I'd be left behind on the sinking ship. And by the sounds of it, the board aren't exactly trying to quell fears with their shoddy efforts at player relations/contact.

The shoddy efforts have seemingly been so shoddy, and the resultant rush for the door so dramatic, that it's hard not to wonder if that was the intent...whether a desire to start (entirely) fresh or something more nefarious, it's so bad that it's a challenge to ascribe the silence to accidental malpractice alone.
 
I'm not worried, but i'm beginning to think the cash I spent on my season ticket could have been better spent on vodka and hookers...
 
What I dont get is why come out and say no-one will leave and then let 5 players go. Just makes you look stupid. Yes these are massive fees and if Chambers is worth £16m what the hell must Morgan be worth but we dont need the money so ..............

The Board need to say something and quick.
 
Thin thats now the key. How will Ron spend the money. We still have some great prospects but need some experienced heads.
