Lets be honest, the Argie team that made it to the 2014 final weren't great either. Messi and Di Maria dragged them there. They've only got worse over 4yrs and needed Messi to save them at the last attempt just to even be in Russia.

Next 4 yr cycle they need to start again, build around Dybala.

So odds on Argentina manager being sacked after the WC? Hell he might even go before Nigeria game by this rate!
 
Croatia looked really really good there, they had help from a dire Argentina but they ripped them apart. Teams will not like the look of them in the knockouts
 
Argentina are always a fancied team. They were awful this WC but they are one of the top teams of world football. They are not technically out but it would take some unusual circumstances for them to qualify. I am sure in the last match the other teams will conspire to get the necessary points to qualify.
 
Argentina aren't out. Even if Iceland beat Nigeria, they have a outside chance of progressing still
 
Sorry but Argentina under performed majorly. When you have one of the best players of all-time with world class players like Aguero, Higuain, Dybala, Angel Di Maria etc then you really should be doing A LOT better. Not sure Argentina can turn a corner after 2 poor performances but they need to do some real soul searching.

Sorry but no, not this time. Their awful qualifying showed they weren't fancied at all, they literally scraped through in a last ditch.

Historically they might be a top team, but times change, no doubt in the future they'll be fancied again.
