Internationals are a way of keeping football interesting for the broad masses and widening the revenue base, so I don't think they're going anywhere soon. I still like the idea of ibternationals, and that being chosen to represent your country should be an esteemed honour, but 15+ years of awful football and underachievement by England makes it hard. I'm guessing that if we played exciting football and did well AT a tournament with a team that people could identify with, interest might pick up again.
The main problems seem to be youth development, lack of coaches and culture/training once players break through, e.g. Wilshere and Barkley would be a decent CM if they'd fulfilled their potential. The youth teams are actually doing ok at the moment, but how many of them do we expect to go on to be decent players?
That, and mentality at big tournaments.
It's just annoying that most of the changes introduced by Germany after 2000 came from a report for the FA (by Howard Kendall?), which the FA basically ignored (and still does ).
No-one else wants the job though (understandably, to be fair).IMO at least the underage teams finally actually did something and achieved something so maybe they can contribute something more than what we have now... BUT... southgate = loser. appoint a real accomplished coach.

No, Jerusalem you dickheadPlay some holy bingo.
.No Jerusalem you dickhead.

Clubs controlling of course it can be worst lol.Agents are already taking it, so it cannot be worse.
Wouldn't be any though. Probably help clubs out with silly fixture congestion as well, esp clubs who get further in comps then have to prioritise. That shouldn't even be an argument lol. That's the spirit.
I watch internationals when they're the only thing on, but quite honestly if they stopped tomorrow I wouldn't miss them.
I'd happily do away with the bloody gaps in our domestic season.
No Jerusalem you dickhead.

At least Mecca is a holy place - you mentioned bingo
