I'm sure this had nothing to do with the decision of who would host the 2026 World Cup

Morocco: stated it was possible for FIFA to earn $5bn from the tournament
USA/Mexico/Canada: stated it was possible for FIFA to earn $11bn from the tournament, plus and estimated $500m from Fox Sports and Telemundo due to them receiving a lucrative package from Uncle Sepp as a sweetener for Qatar being awarded the 2022 tournament

Nope, definitely nothing there...

My main takeaway for the first one was it would have worked far better as a TV series.

My main takeaway after seeing the trailer for the second one is that whoever wrote the second one obviously didn't see the first one...

I think they did themselves a favour not making it a tv series. Imagine comparing it to Narco’s, or El Chapo. Surprised they’ve made a second film be honest.

Argentina don't deserve it, but they've got the players who can pull off strikes like that.

Only 1-0, but France are bossing the Argies - and most surprising is that Tia Maria has started despite him being dreadful in their last game. God, he was ****!!

When you need a 15st bag of ****............there's Giroud. Today , he's playing like he has in most recent NLDs. There are games for what he offers. Let's be kind and say this isn't one of them.

Somewhere in the world, there's Antony Martial, wondering where it all went wrong and weeping gently to himself.

On a side note...I remember a certain poster on here championing the signing of Evar Banega about 7 years ago

2-1 Argies

That was shortly before he missed half the season after managing to run himself over at a petrol station.
Argentina will be visiting their large box of dark art tricks for the remainder of this game now.....
I don't think we can claim Deschamps having Giroud start the game is a work of Argentine skulduggery...
