Going to be a long afternoon for him...I think he will miss Vertognen

I saw one of my brother-in-laws at the w/e. He's a Palace fan and he told me that Vertonghen's been a bit **** without Alderweireld.....I just laughed at him.

He's a PE teacher, so he knows **** all about football.

He'll now playing on his own after his mate got sent off. Unfortunately, we've seen that aspect of Sanchez' play a couple of times. Once in a while he gets brain freeze and just stops.

Ser Davos is not the finished article.
Which is why he needs a few years in the presence
of a Jan or Toby to complete his apprenticeship.

I agree. His potential is enormous and on his day he's already a monster. He's only played 3 seasons at centre back, at 3 different clubs, in 3 different countries. That's an awful lot to cope with at any age and he's doing really well. By the time he's 26 or 27, he'll be some player.

Well, that's all the South American teams having played their first match. Not a single win amongst them. I'm sure that a couple of them will go on to make the Round of 16 but it's been hugely disappointing so far.

Is the continent in football decline? I'm sure that I've heard Tim Vickery saying something like that.

Wilmar got on and was pretty dirty.......probably why Fred has stayed with her all these years.....................Sorry, I'll get m'coat.

Another tournament where the commentators can't pronounce Keisuke Honda's name correctly. It's not "Keesook", it's "Kei-skay" you ignorant dullards.

In other news, I hear the Brazil team will take to the pitch for their match with Costa Rica wearing shirts reading "MIRANDA WAS PUSHED" and wondering why everyone bar the salty side of Merseyside is laughing at them...

Poland 0-1 Senegal HT. The Poles need to change it up at the break.
Might be an idea to take off Krychowiak and add a little creativity, as he's on the verge of a red anyway.

2-0. Niang. Krychowiak with an awful pass, which is ****ed up even worse by Chesney Hawkes.
You can take the clown out of Arsenal...

I can see why the Poles are pissed about that one. Quite a dodgy reintroduction.
